Connecting slings, hooks and chains in hoisting setups.
A forged connecting link for lifting, towing and securing loads. Available in carbon steel and stainless steel to match your corrosion and working-load requirements.

A shackle is a U-shaped forged connector secured by a pin or bolt. It joins slings, ropes, chains and hooks in lifting and securing configurations. Material is selected by duty and environment: carbon steel for general lifting, stainless steel (e.g. A2/A4) where corrosion resistance is required.
