A wedge anchor is a post-installed mechanical fastener for solid concrete. The clip at the embedded end wedges outward as the nut is tightened, creating a secure, vibration-resistant hold in the base material. It is the workhorse choice for structural and heavy-duty attachments where high pull-out and shear resistance are required.

Why specify a wedge anchor

Wedge anchors deliver a high-strength, permanent connection in solid concrete and are suited to dynamic or load-bearing assemblies. With both metric and inch thread options and DIN / ANSI coverage, they drop into structural specs used across European, Middle Eastern, North and South American projects.
